These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mark'd, an AI-powered revision companion for GCSE and IGCSE students. By creating an account or using Mark'd, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Mark'd is intended for students aged 13 and over. You must confirm that you are 13 or over when you create an account. If you are under 18, you should only use Mark'd with the permission of a parent or guardian.
We do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to a user under 13, we will close it.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
You agree not to:
• use Mark'd for anything unlawful or to harm others;
• attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or interfere with the service;
• copy, resell, or redistribute Mark'd's content or technology; or
• upload content you do not have the right to share.
Mark'd uses artificial intelligence to generate revision notes, practice questions, flashcards, marking feedback and grade predictions. AI can make mistakes. This content is a study aid only and is not official exam-board material, and it is not a substitute for your teachers, textbooks, or the official specification.
Always check important facts against your own revision materials, and do not rely on Mark'd's grade predictions as a guarantee of any result.
You are responsible for any notes, images, or other content you upload. Mark'd does not reproduce or provide extracts, passages, poems, or other copyrighted texts from set works; where relevant, practice questions are short-form and do not require the original text.
We may add, change, or remove features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or updates. We aim to keep Mark'd running smoothly but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Mark'd is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content.
You may stop using Mark'd at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Mark'd after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
If you have questions about these Terms, please get in touch using the Help & Support section of the app.
